Siedah Garrett's Video

Riley has some big news. Really big. But he’s not going to tell the kids (or us)
until they’ve done two songs.
Now that everyone’s interest is peaked, Riley reveals the big plot – recording
artist Siedah Garrett is coming to The P*lace to film a video. Everyone is freaked out,
and they show it by shaking Kid around until his brain is dislodged. 
Then Riley reveals she only wants girls on the premises while she’s
there. No boys allowed. What a bummer, indeed. But Mickey has one of those ideas that
always get Kid grounded…
Kid and Mickey - I mean, Rocko and his co-worker are here to work on the
set. Don’t mess with them, they’re the tough crew guys! Unfortunately, they
can’t resist sneaking a peek at Siedah. Mickey falls in love, and Kid falls off a
ladder and the jig is up. Strike one.
Yo, yo, yo, here come Snake and Spider! They may look like Mickey and The Kid, but uh-uh,
they’s backup, sistah! Riley, however, doesn’t speak jive. He kicks them dudes
to the curb. Word.
Now the girls are finally ready to shoot. With an actual pop star as a guest, the number
is really good. Just as they break for a costume change, though…
Yoo-hoo! Gertrude and Penelope are late, tee hee! (NO comment!) This time, Siedah is on to
the ruse, and she leads them right to the dressing room…to change into
bikinis…with the rest of the girls. Time to come clean.
The girls are immediately embarrassed and they admit that the boys are part of the band
with them. But Siedah isn’t mad – she’s thrilled. She wants to hear Kids
Inc. perform.
I don’t really know what this episode is actually titled. It’s different on
every website you go to.
I also don't see why the guys couldn't just be present, even if they weren't allowed to be
in the video. I guess they still would have been dorks about Siedah, but it did seem a bit
unfair. The majority of the episode, she wasn’t even filming the video, she was just
sitting there! So what was the problem with the boys drooling on her for a few seconds
before the shoot?
This is another episode that ended so abruptly.

I mean, if she knew who KI was, wouldn’t she have realized that they perform at The
P*lace? And wouldn’t the girls have mentioned it earlier? GAH this episode was so
rushed it bugged me!!
